A radiation shielding door (11) has a door body (12), filled with concrete, and a frame (13) which is provided with sealing strips (42, 43), on which the door body (12) is articulated and up to which the door body (12) can be moved in a sealing manner by means of locking elements (56). In order that such a radiation shielding door (11), despite shock-resistant locking of the door body (12) on the frame (13), can also withstand, in the required manner and without damage, heat development over a corresponding period of time, the invention provides that the connection of the locking elements (56) to the door body (12) and to the frame (13) is provided with expansion spaces (58) in directions other than the press-on direction. <IMAGE>
