PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging material gripping jig which can suppress a decrease in temperature during forging even when a forging material is a hardly workable material and surely grip the forging material during forging.SOLUTION: In a gripping jig for a columnar forging material, the gripping jig is a forging material gripping jig in which a plurality of projections extending in a longitudinal directions of the forging material are formed in a part of gripping the outer peripheral surface of the forging material. Preferably, the plurality of projections are even-numbered, the forging material has a nearly barrel shape in one-side end part, the gripping jig has a gripping shape along the nearly barrel shape, and a plurality of projections extending in a longitudinal directions of the forging material are formed in the gripping part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
