PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sheet having a printed pattern coinciding with relief pattern and suitable as a flooring material, by applying a foamable resin layer to a substrate, printing a pattern with a printing ink containing a foam- suppressing agent, applying a transparent layer to the printed substrate, foaming the foamable resin layer with heat and embossing the product. CONSTITUTION:A layer of a foamable synthetic resin composition having an average polymerization degree of >=1,200 is applied to a substrate and an arbitrary pattern is printed on the layer with a printing ink containing a foam- suppressing agent. The surface of the printed substrate is covered with a transparent or translucent synthetic resin layer having an average polymerization degree of higher than that of the synthetic resin in the foamable synthetic resin composition by >=100 and having an average expansion ratio of <=4. The foamable layer is foamed with heat to develop a rugged surface pattern. The objective embossed sheet having a printed pattern coinciding with relief surface pattern can be produced by embossing the above laminate with an embossing roll having arbitray embossing pattern on the surface. |
