The invention relates to a system making it possible to assemble, inter alia, elements of circular air ducts without having to resort to drilling and pop-rivet assembly. The sleeve consists of a metal tape 1 having an overlap 6 at one end. A clamping nut 9 which is screwed as required into the tapped hole 11 of the pin 5 exerts a constant pressure on the pin 4 as soon as the bored end of the screw 9 penetrates the blind hole 10 of the pin 4 involved. This pressure expands the sleeve so that the ducts to be assembled 2 previously fitted inside each other, are securely and perfectly assembled. The system according to the invention is particularly intended for assembling networks of ducts clipped together in spirals. <IMAGE>
