发明名称 Oxygen supply for fuel engines
摘要 The general public and legislators are demanding the reduction of exhaust gases and noise from cars. This would be achievable by feeding virtually pure oxygen into the engine cylinders together with the fuel. In this oxygen atmosphere the fuel burns very explosively, so that the feed has to be metered very precisely. Thus the formation of CO, NOx and hydrocarbons does not occur. It is proposed that cooling is to occur inside the cylinder after each combustion process by injecting liquid air with a low nitrogen content or liquid CO2 from the exhaust gases and that its expansion be used to drive the pistons as in the combustion. In this way the engine can be externally insulated against dissipation of heat and hence against noise. A disc with apertures and wind vanes on the large opening of a rapidly turned funnel forces air into the funnel and compresses it due to the funnel shape. Externally circulating countercurrent cooling with virtually liquid nitrogen cools the precooled air, on expansion, to -184 DEG C, so that the nitrogen is still gaseous, the oxygen liquefied; similarly the CO2 is to be liquefied from the exhaust gas flow for heat reduction in the cylinder in that the wind vanes of the disc, like vegetable graters, force air through the apertures by means of the funnel rotation until excess pressure prevails in the funnel tube due to the banking up in front of a valve.
