Novel oxetanylanilines and a process for their preparation

Novel oxetanylanilines of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> stands for an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R<2> denotes a phenyl radical or naphthyl radical which is optionally mono- or polysubstituted by a C1- to C4-alkyl radical or by cyano, chlorine, bromine, iodine or nitro or a trifluoromethyl, alkoxy or carbalkoxy radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms can be prepared by heating cyclic urethane-modified carbonates of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> and R<2> have the meaning indicated above, in the presence of basic catalysts in vacuo.
