PURPOSE:To achieve a higher infrared detection accuracy with a simple construction, by providing a cooling fan to cool a chopper. CONSTITUTION:An infrared sensor 2 is housed in a cabinet 1 and a disc-shaped chopper 3 is arranged somewhere in the field of view as infrared detection area of the infrared sensor 2. The chopper 3 is fastened on an output shaft 5 of a motor 4 and with the rotation of the motor 4, it turns about the output shaft 5 to open or close the field of view of the infrared sensor 2 at a proper interval. A motor 4 is driven to turn the chopper 3 while rotating a cooling fan 8 to cool the chopper 3. |
