PURPOSE:To record an image under the same condition as a case using a new electrode head only by altering the contact position of a head main body, by arranging a large number of conductor wirings for current supply electrodes extending in the peripheral direction of a head main body having a polygonal cross-section on the outer peripheral surface of said main body at predetermined intervals. CONSTITUTION:In an electrode head 12, a large number of conductor wirings 44 extending in the peripheral direction of a head main body 40 having a hexagonal cross-section are arranged on the outer peripheral surface of said main body 40 at predetermined intervals in the axial direction of the head main body 40. Therefore, when the conductor wirings positioned at a corner part so as to be contacted with a platen 10 through recording paper 14 and a current supply transfer sheet 16 is abraded, the electrode head 12 is rotated so that the other corner part contacts with the platen 10 and supported to make it possible to record an image by the new contact surfaces of the conductor wirings 44. Only by altering the contact position of the electrode head 12, the recording of an image can be started under the same condition as a case using a new electrode head. |
