CULTURING OR EXAMINING INSTRUMENT AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of an examining instrument and uniform treatment, by subjecting at least part of surface of the instrument made of a synthetic resin to oxidation treatment by ultraviolet ray pulse irradiation and preparing the examining instrument. CONSTITUTION:When ultraviolet rays 3 using an ultraviolet ray lamp as a light source irradiates a culture vessel 1 obtained by molding a resin into a form fitted for uses, ozone 5 is produced around the culture vessel 4 from the oxygen in air. Further radical from the ozone 5, namely activated oxygen 6 is produced by irradiating the ozone 5 with ultraviolet rays. The activated oxygen 6 has strong oxidation properties and links with hydrogen 7 contributes to hydrophobic properties of the resin to remove the hydrogen 7 from the resin surface 8 and as a result, the resin surface 8 is hydrophilically treated and the activated oxygen 7 is linked 9 with the resin itself at the same time to further improve the hydrophilic properties.
