<p>In a method of fixing a column (31) substantially vertically on a foundation (33), bolt means (35) are attached in such a way to the column that they extend outwardly from one of the end surfaces thereof. A first nut means (41) is then disposed on each bolt means (35), whereafter the column (31) is disposed on the foundation (33) in which there has been provided, for each bolt means, a cavity (38). This cavity is designed to accommodate the respective bolt means with a lateral allowance, and opens into an access opening (39) provided in the foundation. When the column (31) is disposed on the foundation (33), each nut means (41) is placed on the foundation and each bolt means (35) is inserted into the access opening via the associated cavity, whereupon second nut means (43) are disposed on the bolt means via the respective access opening for clamping the column, after adjustment thereof by means of the first nut means, to the foundation in cooperation with said first nut means.</p> |
