<p>A numerical control device for a numerically controlled machine tool comprises a RAM which is rendered operable only when a main power switch of the device is turned on and a storage device which is driven by a power source independent from the device. A CPU provided in the device, each time the main power switch is turned on, transfers, in accordance with a starting program stored in an initial program loader, a control program and a working program stored in the storage device to the RAM in turn, so that a tool is numerically controlled according to both the programs.</p> |
