<p>The invention concerns a sealing apparatus with a cuff-sealing component (10, 11) placed in a gap of variable height between a shaft (1) and a casing (3, 6). A stiff support (13,14) for the sealing component is arranged inside and under this and, in order to allow variation of the height of the gap, the support is fitted with a flange (15,16), which is placed in a ring shaped track (17,18) connected to the casing, with radial play, whereby the support can be moved in a radial direction.<IMAGE></p> |
