Method for regenerating carbon-containing absorbent which is used in the treatment of flues
摘要

Process for regenerating carbon-containing absorbent which is used in the treatment of flue gases. The regeneration is to ensure a high concentration of the desorbed substances in the inert gas used therefor and to decrease the energy consumption in the regeneration. The absorbent is mixed with inert gas and heated in a heating zone whereupon the inert gas is taken off, then the absorbent is cooled while it is flushed with cool inert gas which is taken off together with the heated inner gas. The area of application is the cleaning of a carbon-containing absorbent which has been used in flue gas purification, in particular activated charcoal.
