Known three-way valves have a high inertia in operation or are designed as pulsed valves and are therefore unsuitable for the generation of pressure in a manner dependent on the input of current. The three-way valve according to the invention differs from the known three-way valve in that the armature stroke is performed by two closure elements arranged on both sides of a coil, one of which is pushed towards the valve seat of the consumer connection passage by a spring and the other is pushed towards the valve seat of the relief passage by magnetic forces. This makes it possible to use the valve, for example, also for control devices in automatic transmissions for motor vehicles.
