The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation useful in the treatment of hypertension, comprising a mixture of an azetidine-2-carboxylic acid/proline/pipecolic acid derivative and a benzothiazepine derivative. A preferred combination is captopril or its salts with diltiazem or its salts. The preparation may be administered orally or intravenously. The invention also extends to methods of preparation of such mixtures and of treatment using them.
