The field of the invention relates to articles of clothing whose dimensions can be adjusted. The object of the invention is to produce garments which can be adapted to the morphology and to the differences in stature (height) and build (stoutness) of various wearers. This object is achieved with the aid of an article of clothing intended particularly for sport and for relaxation and leisure activities, such as a blouson-style jacket, waistcoat, anorak, tracksuit (overgarment), all-in-one suit (ski suit) or other type, characterised in that it includes at least two complementary closure elements (31, 32), which are parallel but spaced apart from each other in order to define a gusset between them when they are coupled together.
