The subject of the invention is an air-gas torch with piezoelectric ignition, constituted by a torch nozzle and a handle comprising an igniter 1, a high-voltage cable 2 held in place by a key 3, and a hand grip 4 through which passes a tube 5 carrying at the rear a threaded fitting (nipple) 6 and at the front a valve (tap) 7 onto which is mounted the torch nozzle of specific shape such that it suffices to present the end 38 of the spark plug facing the cavity 20 of the handle so that the simple screwing of the nut 8 of the injector 9 onto the valve (tap) guarantees the continuity of the two electrical connections necessary between the handle and the torch-nozzle body. The gas-ignition 22 and gas-regulating 32 controls are placed on the hand grip, made as a single piece, at the front so as to be able to be operated with just one hand. Application: this torch, equipped with a burner 11, enables various materials used in domestic plumbing to be welded or brazed. <IMAGE>
