A layered photoresponsive imaging member comprised of a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer, and a hole transport layer comprised of novel bis(diarylamino)fluorenes of the formula: <IMAGE> where R and R' are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, and substituted alkyl groups; and Ar and Ar' are independently selected from the group consisting of aryl and substituted aryl substituents.
