<p>A heating system for an operating table comprises a multilayered heating support (2) which has at least one electrically heatable,X-ray permeable heating segment (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d). A regulating and control device (3), which regulates and controls the heating current required by the heating support (2) is connected to the latter. The heating support (2) comprises a heating conductor (16) consisting of a conductor (18) having a defined electrical resistance wound spirally around a support (17). The support (17) is made of an electrically non-conductive material which posesses elastic mechanical properties in a temperature range from T = 10° Celsius to T = 200° Celsius. Together, the various layers of the heating support (2) form a composite material.</p> |
