<p>A handling device for exchanging tools in a platen press having at least two units arranged in a row for acting on a blank, said device includes a roller path extending along the press, a carrier member movable on the roller path, and having a vertical column receiving a lifting fork which is movable in the vertical direction to position a tool holder carriage coupled to the fork to the desired position.
