In a packaging container for receiving a free-flowing product, having a flexible bag, mounted in a rigid wrapping, with a closable outlet bung, and having an opening, assigned to said bung, in the wrapping, the intention is to enable the outlet bung to be moved into a position of readiness for meterable functioning immediately after it has been pulled out of and positioned on the rigid packaging wrapping and, in this case, to prevent any unintended escape of the product in all metering positions. This is achieved in that the outlet bung (1) is provided with a laterally directed product outlet tube (7) which branches radially and laterally from an axially directed cylindrical inner tube (5) of the outlet bung, it being possible for its outlet cross-section (8) to be closed and exposed by means of a cylindrical tube (10) which extends into the inner tube (5) and has a corresponding opening (14) in a closure cap (9) which can be rotated relative to the outlet bung, the outlet cross-section (8) or the opening (14) being formed with an edge bead (19) on the mutually facing side. <IMAGE>
