A metal pot (11) has a filling level-indicating element (21) which comprises a small tube (22) arranged substantially parallel to the pot wall (13) and a stub (23) in the region of the lower end of the small tube (22), capable of being inserted liquid-tightly into a receiving opening (17) in the pot wall (13). The receiving opening (17) of the metal pot (11) is provided with a circumferential inward-pointing flange (18) at its edge, the inside diameter of which flange is smaller than the outside diameter of an elastically compressible sealing sleeve (26) on the stub (23) of the filling level-indicating element (21). A connection between filling level-indicating element and pot, which is to be established in a simple and rapid manner, is possible even if the pot is made of metal. <IMAGE>
