The cultivating unit for a tractor includes a plow frame (1) having a plurality of plows (10,10a). The plow frame is swingably mounted onto a front shaft (16) and a rear shaft (8) supported by an L-shaped guide frame (7,9). One end of the front shaft has a driven gear (5a) and the other end of it is fixedly welded to the plow frame. The drive mechanism of the cultivating unit includes a pneumatic cylinder (3) which is pivotally mounted to the side bracket of a support frame (2) at one end and is slidably mounted on an eccentric pin (18) fixed onto a driving gear (5) at the other end. The plow frame may be tilted according to the rotation of the driven gear caused by the linear motion of the piston rod.
