PURPOSE:To simplify the circuitry and to reduce the cost by connecting four stator windings in series and leading out lead wires from the opposite end sections of the stator winding and the joint of stator windings. CONSTITUTION:In a four-phase hybrid step-motor, four stator windings 2 are connected in series. Lead wires are led out from both end sections of the stator windings 2 connected in series and the joints A, B, C, D, E of the stator windings. DC voltages having different polarity are applied from switching elements 3 through the lead wires onto the terminals of the stator windings 2. Since five lead wires are employed, ten switching elements are enough. |
