The burner includes a gas supply tube (5) for the supply of gaseous fuel, on inner barrel (7) surrounding the gas supply tube with an annular space (8) formed between the gas supply tube and the inner barrel, a combustion air preheating passage (3) disposed at the exterior of the inner barrel in fluid communication with the annular space, and an exhaust passage (11) provided with an exhaust gas extractor positioned downstream of an exhaust duct (12) for the discharge of the exhaust gases through the exhaust duct. |
