摘要 Guided elastic self-aligning clutch release bearing comprising a rolling-contact bearing 1 a first race 7 of which is adapted so as to come into continuous or intermittent contact with a rotary member of the clutch; a rigid guide sleeve 2 comprising a tubular part 13 made from a moulded synthetic material extending at least partially between the inner race of the rolling-contact bearing and a guide tube with respect to which the said sleeve can slide axially; elastic support means 11 mounted between the rolling-contact bearing and a portion of the tubular part of the guide sleeve allowing self-alignment of the release bearing; a support plate 2a of annular overall shape arranged radially and secured to the tubular part 13 of the guide sleeve by overmoulding of the synthetic material, the said support plate being in frictional contact with a radial collar 6 of the second non-rotating race 3 of the rolling-contact bearing, and providing the transmission of the axial loads from a member for actuating the clutch release bearing, characterised in that the support plate 2a comprises a strong element 15 made from steel which has not been hardened by a heat treatment and a wear plate 16 made from steel which has been hardened by a heat treatment, applied against a planar zone of the strong element so as to come into frictional contact with the actuating member, the strong element 15 and the plate 16 being secured together and to the guide sleeve 2 by overmoulding of the synthetic material of the sleeve. <IMAGE>
