A description is given of a mudguard for the front wheel of a motorcycle, which mudguard comprises two half shells (9, 10). The mudguard is fastened in the region of a fork bridge (5) of a telescopic fork (2). Moreover, the mudguard is adapted to the aerodynamic shape of a fully faired motorcycle. Furthermore, it has air ducts (14, 15) for cooling a motor or the braking system of the front wheel. <IMAGE>
