PURPOSE: To provide an outer hook of a sewing machine which captures a needle thread and accommodates an inner hook accommodating a bobbin with a bobbin thread wound therearound, and which has a structure such that a gear shaft having a driven gear connected with a driving gear provided on a lower shaft of a driving source rotatably supported on the sewing machine is press-fitted into a hook body and fixed therein.CONSTITUTION: An outer hook of a sewing machine captures a needle thread and accommodates an inner hook accommodating a bobbin with a bobbin thread wound therearound. The outer hook includes a driven gear 31 connected with a driving gear provided on a lower shaft which is a driving source of the outer hook, rotatably supported on the sewing machine. In addition, the outer hook includes: a gear shaft B in which a shaft-support hole part 5 coincident with the shaft core of the driven gear 31 is formed; a hook body A in which the gear shaft is press-fitted and fixed so as to be coincident with the rotation center of a press-fitting receiving hole part 12 at a bottom part; and a hook support shaft 7 which is inserted in the shaft-support hole part 5 of the gear shaft B of the hook body A and supports the rotation of the hook body A. On the inner periphery of the shaft-support hole part 5, a plurality of ridge-like parts 6,6,...are formed so as to correspond the press-fitting depth of the gear shaft B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
