Gas generator for decontamination of garments and equipment

The invention relates to a gas generator envisaged for thermal decontamination of personal articles. Its main components are a double-walled combustion chamber, container, pumps, valves and lines for the supply of water and generation of water vapour and a burner for production of waste gas from light fuel oil. Special embodiments have a tube bundle system and generate the water vapour/waste gas/fresh air mixture necessary for the decontamination in a mixing chamber and in a mixing section which is arranged outside the generator.
