The invention relates to a device which can be fitted onto a lawnmower for gathering up dead leaves. It consists of a steel rotor 1 and of a sheet metal flange 4. The device according to the invention is especially intended for gathering up dead leaves or other lightweight refuse lying on the ground. It is used over all grounds which are accessible to a lawnmower and particularly over grassy grounds or grounds covered with gravel where conventional means do not give satisfaction.
