Waste air filter - of endless design with multilayer structure passing through-cleaning zone

Filter for the outgoing air or hot gas from a processing plant comprises endless band which travels across the duct around drive and return-roller. The band is made of a braiding of stainless steel, glass, ceramic or carbon fibres which have been wound in several layers to form a band. The band can be fortified by pull absorbing elements or by a woven metal sleeve. The filter is cleaned in a basin filled with a washing liq. contg. a solvent and with a float control. ADVANTAGE - Multilayer filter achieves the required filter fineness and permits regular cleaning.
