PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for the synthesis of a wire-like copper nanostructure which makes it possible to efficiently obtain an abundance of wire-like copper nanostructures by a one charge reaction.SOLUTION: A method for producing a copper nanostructure includes the steps of heating an alkali aqueous solution comprising a water-soluble copper (II) compound and alkyl glyoxime to reduce copper (II) to copper (I) (first reduction) and adding a reductant to a liquid in which the copper (I) produced in the first reduction is present and depositing and growing a wire-like copper nanostructure (second reduction).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
