PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge tube lighting device capable of suppressing aging deterioration and performing energy saving.SOLUTION: A discharge tube lighting device 10 includes a discharge tube 20 having filament electrodes 24 at both ends of a cylindrical main body 22 and a pair of ring electrodes 26 between the filament electrodes 24, and a lighting unit 40 including a discharge circuit 42 that is electrically connected to the ring electrode 26 to output an AC voltage for lighting, and a preheating circuit 44 that is electrically connected to the filament electrodes 24 to supply current for a predetermined time, and then disconnected from the filament electrodes 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
