METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR LIMITING COMPRESSOR CAPACITY IN A REFRIGERATION SYSTEM UPON A RECYCLE START

The compression refrigerator control system consists of a temperature sensor recording the actual temp. of the cooled transfer medium when the refrigerator is operating and signals this to a controller for processing so as to switch on the refrigerator to meet cold requirements at a given speed and cut it out when this is achieved. The controller (17) should include a hot starter which raises the compressor at a second preset speed to a preset output from the minimum output at which the compressor has switched off. The second speed should be less than the speed with which the controller raises output from minimum after a cold start.
