<p>The invention provides a process for producing polyester ether copolymer, which comprises conducting polycondensation after or while mixing in a molten state a polyester of 0.3 [dl/g] or more in intrinsic viscosity with a polyether having terminal hydroxy groups and a molecular weight of 200 or more. This process can dispense with the steps of esterification, transesterification, etc. because of the use of the polyester, and shorten the reaction time so that only a small amound of polyether is produced as a by-product. In addition, since heat history of the polyether is so small that deterioration of polymer during production is depressed. Further, this process permits a continuous production of products with good quality, which serves to markedly improve productivity.</p> |
