Lifting door mechanism, in which door elements 1a, 1b are guided on guide rollers 3 along guide rails 4, 5 in such a manner that they maintain a vertical position over the entire movement path. The door elements are interconnected by a rod 2 which connects the elements to one another and lifts the upper element in relation to the lower element when the upper elements is moved to the rear part of the guide rails.
