<p>A cement hardening accelerator comprising 100 parts by weight of a powder of either a sinter containing either 3CaO.2Na2O.5Al2O3, Na2SO4 and Na2O.Al2O3, or 3CaO.2Na2O.5Al2O3, Na2SO4 and 4CaO.3Al2O3.SO3 each in a specified proportion, or a mixture of substances selected to give the same chemical composition as that of the sinter; 5 to 70 parts by weight of a powder of an alkali metal carbonate; and not more than 170 parts by weight of a powder of lime. It can remarkably accelerate the setting of cement even when added to the cement in a small amount, and can adjust the setting initiation time of cement by varying the amount of its addition.</p> |
