PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object, by which texture (glossy or matte appearance) of an outer surface facing an upstream side in a layer stacking direction can be easily controlled, and to provide a three-dimensional molded object excellent in texture of an outer surface.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object of the present invention aims to manufacture a three-dimensional molded object by stacking layers; and the method includes: a layer forming step of forming a layer using a composition for three-dimensional molding containing particles; a body part forming step of forming a body part to be a body of the three-dimensional molded object by discharging a body part-forming ink that bounds the particles onto the layer; and a sacrificial layer forming step of forming a sacrificial layer using a sacrificial layer-forming ink. At least a part of the body part in an n-th layer is in contact with the sacrificial layer formed in the same level of a (n-1)-th layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
