The tooth-brush has a worm wheel (2) fixed to an end surface of a handle (1) and a brush (10). A worm gear (3) is meshable with the worm wheel and is fixed to the opposed end surface. A knob (3) is fixed to the shaft of the worm gear. When the knob is turned with the handle gripped by the hand, this rotational force causes the worm wheel to be turnedd w.r.t. the worm gear. Accordingly, the brush can be displaced at an arbitrary angle w.r.t. the handle gripped by the hand.
