Wherein the echogenic catheter is composed of an elongated tubular member and an echogenic catheter tip. Wherein the elongated tubular member is an elongated tube with a plurality of exit holes or slots in a portion of the elongated tube, and the echogenic catheter tip includes an elongated porous member residing within the tube.
