A pixel (PX1 to PX6) is built substantially with each crossing of an addressing electrode (X1, X2, X3) with a pair (p1, p2) of keep-alive electrodes. At least one of the two electrodes (Y1, E1) of one pair (p1), comprises, in the region of each pixel (PX1 to PX6), a projecting surface (SB1 to SB3, SC1, SC3) pointing towards the other electrode.
