PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display that can improve display characteristics without complicating the configuration and manufacturing processes of the device.SOLUTION: A display comprises: an electro-optical element in which display gradation is changed through application of voltage; a pixel electrode for applying a voltage to the electro-optical element; an opposing electrode 62 that includes a first contact point P1 and a second contact point P2, and applies a voltage to the electro-optical element while sandwiching the electro-optical element with the pixel electrode; and an output part 50 that supplies a first driving signal SA to the first contact point P1 and supplies a second driving signal SB delayed with respect to the first driving signal SA to the second contact point P2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
