To remove foam which has spread over the surface of vehicle components, e.g. handles (1) or dashboards, the affected area (4,5) is coated by brushing with a mixt. formed by shaking together 0.600 litres of propanol and 0.400 litres of 'ACMOSOL' (a die-cleaner). After about 15 mins., the formed skin is peeled away, leaving the component clean and undamaged. ADVANTAGE - Avoids damage caused by scraping, etc., esp. from textured surfaces. |
