Signalling parameter setting for internally set electronic assembly - using process fed by encoder via interface and controlling setting changes automatically

A parameter selection in an electronic assembly (1) is detected via a connection circuit (8) and optimally encoded (4) for communication to a gate circuit (10) according to an interface transmitter's (3) data format. When the gate is opened the encoded signal is included in the output signal data flow and fed via the interface transmitter and interface (5) to an external processor (7). The processor controls, via the interface, generation of a decoded control signal which changes the parameter selection. ADVANTAGE - External comparison of internal settings of parameters with desired settings is achieved, with automatic setting changing if required.
