Fungicidal and plant growth-regulating cyclopropyl-hydroxyethyl-azolyl-derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 represents halogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkylthio having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halogenoalkyl having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, halogenalkoxy having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, halogenoalkylthio having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, alkoximinomethyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy group, phenyl optionally substituted by alkyl having 1 to 2 carbon atoms and/or halogen or phenoxy optionally substituted by alkyl having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and/or halogen, m represents the numbers 0, 1, 2 or 3, R2 represents optionally substituted benzyl or the radical -COOR3, in which R3 represents alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted benzyl, and Y represents oxygen or sulphur, and their acid addition salts and metal salt complexes.
