METHOD FOR PRODUCING FOODSTUFFS OF HIGH FIBRE MATERIAL PARTICULARLY MUESLI BASE FROM THE CORNS OF CEREALS

High bulk foodstuffs are prepd. using steamed cereal grains. Moisture content of grains is adjusted to 20-25%. Simultaneously, or following this, water is added and grains are steamed at a steaming chamber temp. of 100-140 deg.C. Opt. the temp. is dropped and steaming is repeated at 100-110 deg.C once or several times. Finally the steamed cereal is cooled to room temp. and its moisture content is readjusted to 20-25%. Grains are flattened and opt. dried.
