<p>A method of variably controlling an oil feed rate in an electronically controlled distribution type fuel injection pump, in which the start of feeding of fuel under pressure and the end of feeding of fuel under pressure are controlled with a single solenoid valve. The regions where a cam is used are divided into four modes including a low idle - low velocity low load region, a medium load region, a high load region and a governing - high idle region. The governing - high idle region, the high load region, the medium load region, the low idle - low velocity low load region are arranged in the described order in a direction, in which a cam angle advances from a cam lift 0. The control is conducted such that, in the governing - high idle region, the solenoid valve is closed prior to the start of the cam lift, and, only at the end of the feed under pressure, the valve is opened.</p> |
