PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately learn time to start inspection when a solar battery is inspected by means of a light beam.SOLUTION: A solar battery defect inspection device comprises a display device for displaying image data from an image processing device. The image processing device sets an inspection object string S, detects a light beam actual driving frequency, a time to reach the maximum amplitude point PM, a scan start point of the string on the basis of sensor output from a start sensor 9a situated at one end side, detects the scan start point of the string by the light beam on the basis of an output power generation signal or on the basis of the frequency of a driving signal having multiple rectangular pulses added to main scan means, the time to reach the maximum amplitude point of the light beam that is obtained as off-set time later as a predetermined constant time from the time of state change of each pulse, and scan phase information on the light beam obtained based on the output of the start sensor, and calculates image data indicating the power generation characteristic of each solar battery cell in the relation with the shape of each solar battery cell on the basis of the power generation signal output from each solar battery cell. |
