<p>An air conditioning flow control valve assembly comprises a control valve (2), which may comprise a deformable sleeve which may be twisted to effect flow reduction, and a ramp-shaped flow deflecting structure (4) downstream of the valve. The flow-deflecting structure (4) is so located as to be impinged upon by a narrow, powerful jet of air which may issue from the valve when it is in a pinched-off condition and is designed to rapidly disperse the jet without giving rise to substantial noise.</p> |
