The invention relates to a retractable barrier, in particular intended for reserving a parking space in order to prevent the space from being occupied in the absence of the holder of the parking space. The retractable barrier (1) consists of a base (2) which is fixed to the ground, on which a movable frame (4) is hinged. According to the invention, the barrier comprises a hinging (8) and locking (14) device, placed between the frame (4) and the base (2).
